If you wanted to make an SSH client, why not just build an AIM bot that runs on the server, has it's own aim Log-in , you IM the bot from the device (or any loc. for that matter) authenticate, and then pass it what ever commands you want, and the bot echos back. You could use this same model for other solutions aswell.

Kinda defeats the point in using SSH because AIM isn't encrypted, and it has to go to AOL's servers (when using the provided software.)

add smaterchild to your friends list on your imfree, its a cool bot that lets you get some info from online there's plenty of others out there but so far thats the best one ive seen, you can get weather reports, sports scores and more on your imfree with this bot

if theoretically we could tunnel ssh through IM messages - with a regretable lag - we could encrypt the traffic using the AIM oscar protocol as a wrapper - developers isthis possible?
